The Japan Maritime Daily (JMD): From January 2020, regulations for the maximum sulfur content in marine fuel will be lowered from current 3.5% to 0.5% in all waters. How will you respond to this?

K Line: We have established a company-wide “low-sulfur fuel response working group” and have been discussing the response for about one year. The main responses will be either to use regulatory-compliant fuel with a maximum sulfur content of 0.5%, install SOx (sulfur oxide)
