Minerva buys tankers from Japan
Greek shipowner Minerva Marine has acquired a total of four second-hand product tankers from Japanese shipowners, Andreas A. Martinos, the managing director of the company revealed at an interview with Nihon Kaiji Shimbun (Japan Maritime Daily). The four ships comprise of one LR2 and three MRs.
Martinos said, “They were built by good Japanese shipyards and are quite efficient and economical vessels. Also, the price was reasonable.”
