JMU’s order intake rises 11% to JPY 430b in FY 2014
Japan Marine United (JMU)’s order intake for FY 2014 is expected to rise by 11% to JPY 430 billion compared to the previous fiscal year. The orders consist of VLCCs 10%, bulk carriers 20%, container vessels 20%, and others 50% including ferries, OSVs (Offshore Support Vessels), and LNG carriers. The company’s president Shinjiro Mishima revealed the figures at a press conference in Tokyo on Tuesday.
